Al-Qaidah Al-Baghdadiyah is a primer that teaches beginners spelling and correct pronunciation. It was the method used in traditional Quran schools for decades; it had fallen out of use before teachers and sheikhs revived it for teaching children and adults. The edition closes with the meanings of the Quranic words in Juz' Amma and the rules of recitation.
